Police

With an area of appx. 5947 sq. km. and a population of approximatly 40Lakh (census 2011), Hardoi Uttar Pradesh has the distinction of being the largest single Police force not only in the country but of the entire world. The SP commands a force . personnel spread over 6 Tehsil, specialised wings/ branches relating to Intelligence, Investigation, Anti-corruption, Technical, Training, Forensic Science etc.

Today the Police force had mainly divided into several important units mentioned below to strengthen the efficiency in crime prevention, detection along with its own administration. The main units are-
