RUIYAA GARHI, MADHOGANJ HARDOI

Ruiyaa garhi is the place of historical significance from the point of view of Freedom Struggle.This place is related with freedom fighter SRI NARPATI SINGH. Alongwith some patriots, Sri Narpati Singh, the man of memorable courage has fought with strong British Army. On 15th April, 1858 General Sir Robert Balpol attacked on the fort with his army but they have faced a lot of losses, many of  British soldiers and even Col. Hope were killed in the battle and British army  returned back from this area. Later British army   destroyed this Ruiyaa Garhi (fort).
